Hello, Guest!

Browse Standards

Using the browse tool, you will find the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), the Prekindergarten Guidelines, the Texas College and Career Readiness Standards, the English Language Proficiency Standards, and the TEA Essence Statements.

In this section, TEKS are arranged in the following order:

  • Subject Area
    • Strand
      • Knowledge and skill statement
        • Student Expectations.

Please begin by selecting either the TEKS Subject Area or the Additional Standard Set that you wish to explore.

            • Supporting StandardStudent Expectation - A.9A: Determine the domain and range of exponential functions of the form f(x) = abx and represent the domain and range using inequalities.
            • Supporting StandardStudent Expectation - A.9B: Interpret the meaning of the values of a and b in exponential functions of the form f(x) = abx in real-world problems.
            • Readiness StandardStudent Expectation - A.9C: Write exponential functions in the form f(x) = abx (where b is a rational number) to describe problems arising from mathematical and real-world situations, including growth and decay.
            • Readiness StandardStudent Expectation - A.9D: Graph exponential functions that model growth and decay and identify key features, including y-intercept and asymptote, in mathematical and real-world problems.
            • Supporting StandardStudent Expectation - A.9E: Write, using technology, exponential functions that provide a reasonable fit to data and make predictions for real-world problems.
